Interview for selection of the Public Health Midwife Training programme for the Western, Uva and North Western provinces has been postponed by health ministry due to covid pandemic.
Health ministry has released the selected list for PSM and Para Categories selection for the year 2020.

Annual Computer Literacy Statistics of Srilanka for the year of 2020 has been released.
Computer literacy A person (aged 5-69) is considered as a computer literate person if he/she could use computer on his/her own. For example, even if a 5 years old child can play a computer game then he/she is considered as a computer literate person.
Digital literacy A person (aged 5-69) is considered as a digital literate person if he/she could use computer, lap top, tablet or smartphone on his/her own.
Education Ministry has extended the attachment transfer period of Non academic Staff in National Schools, College of Education, Teacher Colleges and Teacher Centers.
They have to come back for Permanent Place after resuming of academic activities of relevant institution.
