April Salary for Government Servants



Government Officers will get the 5000 cost of living as the remaining 50% of Rs.10,000/- increased as per budget proposals for 2024.

Rs.5,000/- will be added to the cost of living allowance of Rs.12,800/- and paying Rs.17,800/-.

Pensioners will be get 2500 increment as cost of living.

Salary Date for the teachers - April 10

Salary Date for the Government officers - April 10

Pension Date - April 08

Refresher / Gap Filling Course for Private Sector Nurses


The Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PHSRC), in collaboration with the National Apprentice and Industrial Authority (NAITA) and the Association of Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes (APHNH), is pleased to announce the scheduling of the Refresher/Gap Filling Course for Private Sector Nurses - 6th Phase.

Closing Date - 10.04.2024

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates with G.C.E.O/L passes in Science and Mathematics who have completed a 3-year nursing program and with 2 years post-training experience in a PHSRC-approved training institute; or
  • Candidates with G.C.E.O/L passes in Science and Mathematics who have completed a nursing program recognized by PHSRC with a minimum of 5 years of continuous service in the field of Nursing at PHSRC approved institutions; or
  • Candidates without the above-approved basic qualifications but with over 10 years of continuous service in the field of nursing at PHSRC-approved institutions.
