National Level Survey on Grade 03 Students



Education Ministry has released the Survey Report on Assessment on Achievement Levels of Foundational Skills in Literacy and Numeracy of Grade 03 Students in Sri Lanka

"The survey has been designed to ensure that these data can be compared provincially and thus, serves as a valuable resource for everyone interested, from policy makers, planners and administrators, to school principals, teachers and academics, facilitating the analyzing of the diverse components and issues shaping curriculum, teaching learning practices and assessment polices plans and programs regarding the primary schools. Furthermore, the comparative nature of the study allows each province to evaluate itself in relation to others in terms of the inputs and outcomes of schools. This report will serve as a resource now and in the years to come, for those committed to improving educational quality and equality."
