1. Parliamentary Budget Officer

Salary Scale
The monthly salary scale specified for this post is 358,150 - 5x10,030 - 408,360/- (The minimum initial gross monthly remuneration together with all other allowances will be approximately Rs. 665,000/-)
 
At least 15-years of experience in government budgeting, financial policy, fiscal policy, or macroeconomic analysis.

2. Deputy Parliamentary Budget Officer

Salary Scale

The monthly salary scale specified for this post is 302,510 - 5X8,470 - 344,860/- (The minimum initial gross monthly remuneration together with all other allowances will be approximately Rs. 560,000/-)

At least 10-years in government budgeting, financial policy, fiscal policy,
macroeconomic analysis, and/ or the expenditure management system in Sri Lanka.

Educational Qualifications:
  • A degree from a recognized university in a relevant field of study such as economics, business, finance, political science, or public administration.
  • A post-graduate degree or significant experience in economics, public policy, management, business, or finance.
  • Significant management experience at the senior executive level (in a private/public sector or a non-government/research organization); and
  • Substantial experience leading high-level budgeting, economic, and/ or financial analyses, ideally related to the public sector.

Applications are invited for the Instructors for the Sinhala / Tamil Medium Bureau Training Pool as qualified Training Instructors / Instructresses for teaching the Attendants Service Training Course conducted for the foreign employment candidates by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.

Basic Qualifications

01. Nursing Service Training Instructors / Instructresses
  • Should have followed a course in Nursing and should have followed a course in Teaching and supervising nursing service in a recognized institution
  • Should have at least 2 years experience in nursing service
  • Should be between 25 years and 60 years (Retirees also will be considered)
02. Attendants Service Training Instructors / Instructresses
  • Should have followed a Diploma Course in Nursing Service in a recognized institution
  • Should have at least 2 years experience in attendant service
  • Should be between 25 years and 60 years (Retirees also will be considered)
03. English Language Instructors / Instructresses
  • Should have obtained a degree in English language from a reputed university or
  • Should have followed English language as a subject in the degree course
  • Should have followed a Diploma Course in English language from a recognized local or foreign educational institution
  • Should have at least one year's service experience as a Teacher or Instructor in English language
Other Qualifications
Language proficiency (Sinhala / Tamil / English)
It is essential to be physically fit

Eligibility
1)
The monthly income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs.100,000/-

2)
Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in 2022 (2023)

3)
Qualified to study G.C.E. (A/L) in the year 2025.


The number of scholarships allocated for one education zone is 50 no’s,


Selected students will receive Rs.6,000.00 per month and offered for a maximum period of 24 months until appearing for the G.C.E. (A/L) .
