Notice on 119 Police Emergency Center

Sri Lanka Police has released a media release on 119 police emergency hotline. Sri Lanka police request the public, not to misuse the said number and use only to provide prominent and vital information regarding incidents that need to be attended to immediately.

If a person is found guilty for providing false and incorrect information to the police, should be punished with 6 month imprisonment or fine or both.
