  1. Issuance of commemorative stamps to commemorate Sri Lanka - Pakistan diplomatic relationship
  2. Commonwealth Heads of Government Conference - (CHOGM)
  3. Renovations of Warikaramaya building which belonged to the Department of Buddhist Affairs
  4. Disposal of scrap metals in Sri Lanka Railway Department and Sri Lanka Transport Board
  5. Declaration of Eastern Container Terminal Project as a special project.
  6. Co-operative development program for continuation of operational safety and airworthiness
  7. Repair of Mirihana, Kikiliamana and Vavuniya communication towers owned by Sri Lanka Police
  8. Renovation of Ampara Ekgaloya tourist bungalow and Riverstone tourist bungalow( Dumbara Forest Home
  9. Appointment to the post of Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Conservation Department.

Elimination of anomalies in pension in the government service.

Certain groups of pensioners have experienced anomalies due to various policy decisions taken by the Cabinet of Ministers as well as the salary revisions carried out from time to time by the government. Accordingly, it has been observed that the government officers retired from 01.01.2016 to 01.01.2020 has confront unjust and relief can be bestowed for around 83,000 retired government officials by eliminating that salary anomaly. Therefore, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the resolution furnished by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to revise the pension salary of those retired officers so that an increase of Rs. 2,500/- to the maximum is received based on the total salary as per schedule No. I of Public Administration Circular No. 03/ 2016 dated 25.02.2016.
