Eligibility Requirements:
Certificate Course in English Language:
- Those who have passed grade 9 and over 16 years of age and are willing to learn English language can apply for this course.
Advanced Certificate Course in English Language:
- Applicants must have successfully completed the Certificate Course in English conducted by this university. OR
- Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination or an equivalent qualification and the placement test conducted by the university.
Diploma Course in English Language: SLQF Level 3 - 30 Credits
- Applicants must have successfully completed the Advanced Certificate Course in English Language conducted by this university OR
- Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination or an equivalent qualification and the placement test conducted by the university. OR
- A foundation course equivalent to SLQF level 2 after a minimum of 12 years of schooling followed by passing an aptitude test.
Higher Diploma in English Language - SLQF Level 04 - 30 Credits
- Applicants must have successfully completed the Diploma in English Language. OR
- Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination or an equivalent qualification and completion of a minimum of 30 credits at SLQF Level 3 in relation to English.
