Agrahara monthly contribution increases to 1000 (2025 Onwards)

cabinet approval given to increase the Agrahara Monthly Contribution to 1000 rupees.

Approval of the Cabinet of Ministers was granted at their meeting held on 12.08.2024 to introduce a medical insurance scheme that further facilitates the government sector employees and all the pensioners with more attractive benefits with effect from 2025. Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers granted approval to the proposal furnished by the Hon. President to deduct rupees 1,000/- from the pension of all pensioners and from the monthly salary of all government sector employees and credit the amounts in the National Insurance Trust Fund and, to implement the proposed more privileged medical insurance scheme from the year 2025.
