MEd Application - University of Peradeniya

Applications are invited for Master of Education (MEd) degree programme conducted by the PGIHS from eligible candidates who are currently employed at government or private schools, pirivena or other educational institutes with following qualifications:

Qualifications 

Criteria 1 

Bachelors' degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a merit or distinction pass obtained from a recognized University/Institute.

Criteria 2

Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree [1st or 2nd Class (Upper Division)] obtained from a recognized University/Institute.

Notes:

1. Selection for the Programme will be based on a selection test and an interview.
2. The final decision will be taken by the Board of Study.
3. An adequate knowledge of English language is expected.
4. The applicant should be entitled to one year of full time study leave.
