The cut-off marks of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination for selecting popular schools have already been released by the Ministry of Education.
The ministry said that students who have not received a school despite qualifying based on the cut-off marks and those who have a valid reason to change the school they have received are requested to submit their appeals
Appeals should be submitted to the ministry between January 06 and 17, 2020
Step I of G.C.E O/L Paper marking is going underway. Time Period for the phase I of paper marking is from 26.12.2019 to 04.01.2020. Paper marking procedure conducts in 84 Schools. 37 from these Schools reopen for academic activities on 02.01.2020 as usual. 47 schools will be reopened on 06.01.2020 for academic activities.

Closing Date for Indian Undergraduate scholarship has been extended to 06.01.2020. 25 Rajiv Ghandi scholarships and 100 Nehru Memorial Scholarships available under this scheme.
Applications for GCE A/ L Results re correction should be sent on or before 17.01.2020. School candidates should forward their applications through the principals of their respective schools and the private candidates should sent their applications directly to the address by registered post.
