• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Applicants must have a First or Second Class (Upper Division) degree from a recognized university
• Applicants should be below 40 years of age on 23.04.2018
• Be employed in the Public Sector, University , or a State Corporation
• No application will be entertained from a person holding a temporary/ casual/ contractual appointment or a person who is unemployed. Only permanent and confirmed employees will be considered for the scholarships.
• An employee on probation may apply provided however that his/her confirmation is conditional upon acquiring a specified postgraduate qualification, in such a case a statement to that effect should be included in cage 17 of the application.

Ministry of Irrigation & Water Resources Management

• BSc Engineering (Civil) Degree with 15 yrs f experience

• Degree in Management with 5 years of experience

• B.Sc Engineering Degree with 10 years experience

• Degree in Science or Management with 5 year experience

Post of Ward Clerk (Female)  

• Shall have passed 06 subjects with credit passes for Sinhala/Tamil/English Language and other two subjects at the G. C. E. (O/L) examination at the first sitting  and
• Shall have passed at least one subject (except the common general test) at G. C. E. (A/L) examination.
• Vocational qualifications are not relevant for the post of ward clerk (female)

Assistant Project Director (Design)

• BSc Eng. Degree in the relevant field 
• Postgraduate Degree or corporate membership of a recognized professional institute in the relevant field 
• 8 years Experience

Structural Engineer

• BSc Eng. (Civil) Degree in the relevant field and 3 years experience

Design Engineer

• BSc Eng (Civil) Degree in the relevant field and 1 year of experience
