The Young Friends அமைப்பு, கண்டி மாவட்டத்தில் சமூகப் பணியாற்றி வருகின்ற 50க்கும் மேற்பட்ட சமூகநல நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைந்து கடந்த பல வருடங்களாக, கண்டி மாவட்டத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் க.பொ.த. உயர்தரப் பரீட்சை எழுதி பெறுபேறு பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கான இலவச முழுநாள் வழிகாட்டல் நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றை வெற்றிரமாக நடாத்தி வருகின்றது.

கடந்த 8 வருடகாலமாக கண்டி மாவட்டத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு ஊரிலும் இருக்கின்ற துறைசார் நிபுணர்களை ஒன்றிணைந்து, இம்மாணவர்களுக்கான வழிகாட்டல்கள் தனிப்பட்ட ரீதியில் வழங்கப்படுவது இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் சிறப்பம்சங்களின் ஒன்றாகும்.

Serendib Educational Foundation (SEF) அனுசரணையில் நடைபெறும் இந்நிகழ்வில் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும், 50ற்கும் மேற்பட்ட முக்கிய வளவாளர்கள் கலந்து கொள்கின்றனர்.
