Information on Sri Lanka Administrative Service : SLAS

The Service Minute of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service shall come into operation with effect from 01st July, 2012 substituting the Minute of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service dated 28th October, 2005 published in the Gazette Extraordinary No.1419/3 of 14th November, 2005 of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the amendments thereto from time to time.

here we have listed the service minute and amendment made to the Service minute of SLAS. The First Gazette Notification is important and others are amendments of first one. (if you have an idea for SLAS you have to refer these gazette notifications)

English Teaching - (Temporary ) HNDE Holders, North Western Province

Deployment in service of English diploma holders on temporary basis and payment of a monthly allowance basis for the vacancies of English teachers that exist in the schools of north western province.

Applications are invited from both females and males who are permanent residents of the North Western province who have followed and successfully completed higher National English diploma cause offered by the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological education for department in service on temporary basis and monthly allowance basis for the English teacher vacancies that exist in provincial Council schools in the Divisional Secretariat divisions mentioned below in the northwester province.

Appeals : Admission to the National Colleges of Education

Education ministry requests the APPEALS from the applicants of the entrance to National Colleges of Education 2017/2018 AL.

Appeals should be forwarded according to the gazette no 2108 dated on 25.01.2019

It is best to appeal only if there are problems with applying or interviewing and selecting after the interview, having clearly understood the terms and conditions of the Gazette Notification dated 25.01.2017.

Accordingly, an application form prepared in accordance with the specimen form published herein should be sent to the following address by registered mail on or before 31st August, 2019, as per the information on the application submitted for admission to the College of Education.

Only certified photocopies of your application, certificates and documents should be annexed with the appeal, in order to confirm the relevant facts. (The relevant appeal form is four (04) pages.)
