Online Bus Seat Reservation (NTC - OCT 01 Onward)

The National Transport Commission (NTC) launched an online bus seat reservation portal for long distance private buses. Passengers could make use of the facility to reserve their seats on long distance buses plying on 35 routes, departing from Colombo Fort to several destinations such as jaffna, Kataragama, Badulla, Ampara, Deniyaya, Passara, Lunugala, Akuressa, Thirukovil, Batticaloa, Point Pedro, Madolsima, Anuradhapura, Dayagama and Trincomalee.

Interim Bus Fares Revision - 2018 - September

Upon the Transport and Civil Aviation Minister Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva Decision made based on obtaining covering Cabinet approval on 19th September 2018 the bus fare has been increased from 4% since midnight of 20th September 2018 and There wont be any change in the minimum bus fare of Rs.12. Accordingly full fare in respect of approved Inter Provincial Normal Services only implemented by the Sri Lanka Transport Board and Private Passenger Transport Services and the Fare Table depicting 350 Normal Fare Stages are given below for the information of Passengers, Owners, Crew, Authorities and the General Public.

Admission for 2019 : Trinity College Kandy (Grade 4,6,7 )

Applications are invited from boys currently being educated at both local and international schools who wish to join Trinity College in Grade 4, Grade 6 or Grade 7 in January 2019.

Places offered will primarily be in the English Medium.

Applicants will be required to sit the Trinity College Entrance Examination. This will be held at the junior School on Saturday 6th October 2018. Shortlisted boys (and their parents) will be called for interview, following which strictly limited number of places in Grade 4,6 & 7 will be ofered to successful applicants.
