Islandwide School Competition (Art/Essay/Short Drama(S))

Applications are invited for the All Island Art and Essay and Short Drama Competition (Sinhala Medium) from National water Supply and drainage Board.

Closing Date 15.01.2025

Essay competition

Submissions can be made in Sinhala, Tamil, or English. Essays should not exceed 350 words in length. Participants can compete in two categories: Junior and Senior sections..

Art Competition

Art work should be 17 x 23 inches in size, and any coloring medium may be used. Participants can compete in two categories: Junior and Senior sections.

Students from Grades 4 to 7 will be considered the Junior Section, while those from Grade 8 and above will be in the Senior Section.

Short Drama Competition

Students from Grade 8 and above are eligible to participate. The competition will be held in the Sinhala medium only. A maximum of 10 students can participate in one drama. The drama duration should not exceed 10 minutes. The script, complying with the rules and regulations, should be submitted by 15th January 2025
