APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably qualified candidates to
follow the Probationary Officer Course conducted by National
Cadet Corps. The applicants should be below 35 years of age
on 31st August 2019.

Entry Requirements
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Should have a permanent appointment of following government services.
- Sri Lanka Teachers Service
- Sri Lanka Principals Service.
- Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service.
- Sri Lanka Educators Service.
Applications should be completed in applicant’s own
handwriting or by type setting and sent by registered
post to reach

National Cadet Corps,
No 15, Dutugemunu Street,
Pamankada, Dehiwala on before 31st May 2019.
“Application for Probationary Officer Course Intake -
40” should be written at the top of the left corner of
the envelop constraining the application.
Applications should be forwarded with following
documents.
- A certified copy of Birth Certificate
- A certified copy of National Identity Card
- A certified copy of first appointment letter
- Certificate from Grama Niladhari
- Certified copies of Educational Certificates

Details
- Squad Drill, Physical Training, Map Reading Field Craft. General Knowledge with current affairs, Regimental Duties, Leadership and Management, Team Building Activities, Personality Development, Positive Thinking Ethics and Manners, Obstacle Course.
- 4.2 The duration of the course is 45 days.
- The selected applicants are bound to follow the rules and regulations of National Cadet Corps.
- The selected applicants should have entered into an agreement and a surety bond with National Cadet Corps.
- Trainees who complete the course successfully will be commissioned by His Excellency the President of Democratic, Socialist republic of Sri Lanka after completing one-year probationary period.
