Calling Applications to Recruit for Grade III of the Combined Drivers’ Service

Qualifications 

• Age 18 - 45   
• Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects at least with two credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil language at not more than two sittings.
• Possessed a valid driving license issued by the Commissioner-General of Motor Traffic with regard to driving of private/hiring vehicles and station wagons tare of which less than 24 CWT. (A driving license in vehicle Class C and C1 or a driving license in Class B under new procedure shall have been obtained at least before three (03) years from the date of recruitment)
• Shall possess 3 years of experience as a driver of Motor vehicles. 
• minimum height of 5 ft.

Salary:   Rs. 25,790 – 10 X 270 – 10 X 300 – 10 X 330 – 12 X 350 – Rs. 38,990  .  \

Trade Test

1. Competence in driving
2. Practical knowledge of highway rules
3. Basic knowledge on motor mechanics
