Calling for the application for Postgraduate Diploma/MA/ MPhil/PhD

Eligibility

Postgraduate Diploma

• A Bachelors' degree or equivalent qualification

Master of Arts

• A Bachelors' Honours degree (Special) in the relevant subject or
• A Bachelors' degree (general/Combined) with 30 credits from the relevant subject area with a minimum of average B grade or equivalent grade point in the relevant subject area or
• A Bachelors' degree in any discipline and a Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant subject area or
• an equivalent qualification

Master of Arts in Applied Economics

• A Bachelors' degree or equivalent qualification and two years of experience

Master of Philoshopy

• A Masters' Degree (SLQF levels 9/10) in the relevant subjects area OR
• A Bachelors' Honours Degree (Special) degree with first/second class (Upper Division) pass in the relevant subject area or
• Any other  equivalent qualification

Doctor of Philoshophy

• A Masters' of Philosophy Degree (SLQF Level 11) in the relevant subject area or
• A Masters'   Degree with a research component (SLQF Level 10) in the relevant subject area

Fields of Study

Archaeology, Buddhist Studies, English, Economics, Fine Arts, Geography, History, Islamic Civilization, Pali, Philosophy,  Political Science, Sanskrit, Sinhala, Sociology, Tamil, Greek and Roman Studies.
